What to Expect During the Competition

General competition schedule

Friday's Schedule Includes:

Live Case

Lunch: 11:30-12:30

An opening lunch, where participants and judges are invited to get fueled up for the competition and are given all the information for the coming days.


Live Case: 13:00 - 14:00

The live case where participants receive information on the first case of the competition. They are then given 3 hours each, staggered staggered in 3 divisions, to prepare their analysis.


Preparation & Presentations: 14:15 - 19:30

After their preparation, teams have 20 minutes to present their analysis to the panel of industry professional judges.



Networking Cocktail: 19:00-21:00

Following the presentations, teams and judges are invited to a networking cocktail and dinner where the first day scores are announced.

Saturday's Schedule Includes:


Lunch: 11:30-12:30

Participants return on Saturday morning for the opening lunch to get ready for another intense day of competing.


Live Case: 13:00 - 14:00

A new live case is presented to the participants, even more complex than the day before. Participants use the feedback given from the previous day to improve their analysis for the final round.


Preparation & Presentations: 14:15 - 19:30

After the presentations, judges deliberate and tally the scores from the two days of presentations.




Gala Dinner: 20:00 - 00:00

Finally, all of the judges, volunteers, participants and organizers gather at the Gala dinner to celebrate the competition and eagerly await the announcement of the winning teams. Winning teams are announced following dinner.

Where to stay

The Gala dinner will be hosted at Branzino restaurant, located inside Le Meridian Versailles hotel. Teams are encouraged to book at Le Meridian Versailles hotel, located within walking distance of the John Molson School of Business. Special rates have been arranged.
